About these terms

This website is operated for Karnataka Tourism Awards 2026 by Karnataka Tourism Society. The awards are organised by Karnataka Tourism Society, supported by the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka. These terms govern use of this website and participation in the awards, together with the published eligibility requirements, nomination rules and instructions in the relevant application form.

Using the website

Use this website lawfully and provide accurate information when contacting us or submitting an entry. Do not impersonate another person, upload harmful material, interfere with the website or infringe another person's rights. Information on this website helps applicants understand and participate in the awards.

Eligibility and applications

Check the eligibility conditions for your selected award before applying. Applications must be submitted using the relevant official form by 17 September 2026. Submit a separate application and applicable fee for each award entry. A contact enquiry does not constitute an award application. Entries must be complete, accurate, verifiable and self-certified through an authorised signatory where applicable.

Supporting documents and permissions

Provide the documents and evidence required for your selected award and comply with the formats, file sizes and field limits stated in the form. Retain original records and cooperate with verification requests. You are responsible for obtaining permission to submit information, photographs, videos and other material that belongs to, identifies or features another person or organisation.

Application fees and payment queries

The base application fee is ₹5,000 for most awards, ₹2,500 for Best Rural Tourism Project and Best Homestay Establishment, and ₹1,000 for Best Guide and Best Naturalist. GST is added where applicable. The official form displays the amount payable. Payment does not guarantee selection or an award. Review any payment and refund conditions displayed in the form before paying. For failed payments, duplicate charges or refund queries, contact the awards team with your transaction reference.

Independent jury and evaluation

An independent committee chaired by the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka will evaluate entries. It includes government officials, tourism and hospitality industry experts, and representatives from the media, IHM, India Tourism and relevant trade publications. The jury and organising committee may audit applications, request further information, verify data and conduct site visits where required.

Disqualification and category decisions

The jury and organising committee may reclassify an entry, modify or cancel an award category, or disqualify an entry that is incomplete, ineligible, misleading, fraudulent or otherwise fails to comply with the published rules. All decisions of the jury and organising committee are final and binding. No correspondence regarding the outcome of the evaluation will be entertained.

Ceremony attendance

The ceremony is scheduled for 27 September 2026 at Anantya Palace Ground, Bengaluru. Winners must ensure that a senior management representative at Director level or above attends, as required by the published rules. Publicity and promotional rights

By submitting an application, you permit Karnataka Tourism Society and Karnataka Tourism Awards to use submitted photographs, videos, organisation information and supporting material for awards-related communication, media coverage, publicity and promotional activities. You confirm that you hold the rights and permissions needed for these uses. This permission does not transfer ownership of your material.

Agreement to the nomination rules

Submitting an application constitutes the applicant's unconditional agreement to comply with the published rules, eligibility conditions, verification requirements and evaluation process. Read How to Apply and the relevant application form in full before submitting. If any instruction appears unclear or inconsistent, seek clarification from the awards team before completing the entry.

Website content and external services

The award identity, website text, designs and images belong to their respective owners. Do not reproduce or commercially use them without the required permission. Official application forms open on Zoho Forms, and external websites and payment services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control the availability or operation of those third-party services.

Availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care to keep website information accurate, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed. Applicants remain responsible for checking their entries and submitting on time. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Karnataka Tourism Society is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate applicant information, unauthorised use of submitted material or failures of services outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
